Wedgetail is an early-stage product running a closed pilot. These terms say what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Last updated 12 August 2026.
What Wedgetail is
Software that plans learning activities for you to run with your child, and records how they went. You are the person delivering the teaching. We provide the plan, the scripts and the record keeping.
What it is not
It is not a medical or diagnostic tool. It does not assess, diagnose or screen for developmental delay, learning difficulty or disability. The age guides in the product describe when most children reach a skill, and children vary enormously. If you have a concern about your child's development, speak to your GP, a maternal and child health nurse, or a paediatrician. Do not wait on anything you read here.
Supervision and safety
Every activity is a physical activity with real objects, so you must supervise it. You know your child. Check that the objects in any drill are safe for them, watch for choking hazards with small items, and skip anything that does not suit. If a drill looks wrong for your child, do not run it.
Pilot status
During the pilot, features will change, the curriculum will grow, and things will occasionally break. We may contact you for feedback. You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your data.
Your account
Keep your passphrase to yourself and the people who run sessions with your child. Tell us if you think someone else has it. We can revoke and reissue it.
Results
We do not promise a particular outcome for your child. The bands shown in the platform reflect what you have logged, measured against the Victorian Curriculum. They are a record of demonstrated skills, not a prediction and not a formal assessment.
Content
The curriculum, activity scripts and software are ours. Use them with your own family. Do not republish or resell them. Anything you write in a log stays yours.
Liability
Nothing here removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from using the product. The service is provided as it is, which is what an early pilot means.
