What we hold, and what we do not
Plain version first. We keep the least we can, it stays in Australia, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted whenever you ask. Last updated 12 August 2026.
What we collect
Two things, and nothing else.
About your child
A first name, a date of birth, and the record of each session: which skill was practised, which game was used, and whether it went well. That record is the product. Without it there is no adaptive plan.
About you
If you ask for a place, we store your name, email, your child's age and your postcode, plus anything you type in the optional box. We use the postcode to work out where demand sits, nothing more.
What we never collect
No photos. No video. No audio recordings. No location data. No contacts, no device identifiers, no advertising identifiers. Your child never uses the software, so it never sees them at all. Everything we hold about your child was typed in by you.
Where it lives
In a Cloudflare D1 database provisioned in the Oceania region, reached through a Cloudflare Worker. Cloudflare is our only processor. We do not use analytics that follow you around, and there are no advertising tags on this site.
Is it used to train AI?
No. Your child's records are used to plan your child's own sessions and nothing else. We do not use them to train models, we do not pool them into a training set, and we do not send them to a third-party model provider. If that ever changes, we will ask you first and you will be able to say no and keep using the product.
Who can see it
You, through your own sign-in. Us, when we are fixing something or you ask for help. Nobody else. We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to schools.
Keeping it and deleting it
We keep session records while you are using Wedgetail, because the history is what makes the plan work. Ask us to delete your child's record and we delete it, in full, within seven days. Ask for a copy and we will send you the raw record. Email [email protected] either way.
Your rights
The Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 apply to how we handle this information. You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or complain. Start with us. If we do not resolve it, you can take a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Cookies
One, and only after you sign in. It holds a signed session so the platform knows which family you are. It is not used for tracking and there are no third-party cookies on this site.
Changes
If we change this, we will change the date at the top and tell pilot families by email. Questions go to [email protected].
